Nellybeans was started in 2003 as a custom clothing/hair bow business for children and has morphed over the years into an embroidery design business. We are a very small business, run by a daughter-mother team. We both love to sew, embroider and create things for friends and family and are happy that we are able to share that love of creating online in the form of this site. As we grow we look for ways to improve ourselves and our techniques to continue to create quality designs.
We test stitch out all our designs prior to putting them up on the site using multi machines and formats.
Nellybeans is run from two locations in the US. Krista maintains an office in Alexandria, Louisiana and Denise is located in San Dimas, CA.
All of our designs are available for INSTANT DOWNLOAD after checkout. We do not email designs unless there was a mistake with format choice at checkout. We do not send designs through the US mail system unless you have been invoiced for a CD and shipping charges and we have received your payment for this service.
We do offer custom digitizing services at a competitive rate using your (preferably) high quality vector art. There is a form that can be filled out and submitted through the site to get a quote, please rememeber to attach your artwork when sending this form.
While not listed on the site we do occassionaly, as time permits, do custom cloth diaper orders for diapers with or without embroidery. Fabric, color, size, closure type and design choices (if embroidery is wanted) are all completely customizable. Diaper orders will be invoiced when the quote is agreed upon and payment is due prior to work beginning. Custom orders take between 2 and 4 weeks to complete on average.
